Have you ever wondered what the players get up to on their free time or when they are about to play? In this new weekly feature leading up to the finals a question is asked to all the players and you get their views on what the specific topic is.
Free Time!
Not always are the CGS players gonna be playing everyday in their matches, as that will most likely lead to a burnout. Its also a big chance to see and do stuff in one of the biggest cities in USA so...
This question to Birmingham Salvo this week is:
When you are not playing your matches in CGS, What is the one thing you would like or gonna do when you're in LA?
Bazza: Well we have already planned our trip to go and watch LA Galaxy and Beckham get destroyed by New England, other than that, I have found my passion for golf again. I know there are some really great golf courses in California so I plan on having one or two 18-hole'rs if I can. I'm just going to chill out, enjoy the sun + American food, and maybe head up to San Fransisco if I get the time as I would love to see the Golden Gate Bridge.
DaveySkills: Well besides practice and chilling by the pool, I wanna go an see the beach 'cos last time I didn't get to visit the beach to be honest. I also wanna go to West Hollywood again, but spend some more time there. It was kind of a rushed visit last time, it was fun, but I wanna stay there for a whole day an spend some money =P. An besides spending money, having fun an trying to get rid of my ghostly complexion I haven't thought of anything else.
Mangiacapra: I'm planning to start dating Elisha Cuthbert while we are out in L.A, so i guess my freetime will be taken up by her. Other things i plan to do while we are there is play a bit of poker at the casinos and go play on some of the awesome golf courses out there. We will go hire some speed boats again and rip up the waves and do a few races around the bay.
MESSY: I would like to go down to the beach and have a great time there, I would also like to go out shopping to buy a lot of cheap stuff. I will continue exploring in LA like I did last year.
ODEE: I cannot wait to go and see the LA Galaxy play New England on 4th July
should be good to watch, lets hope Beckham is playing.
Picaso: I would like to do a bit of sight seeing, as I have never been out of Europe before. Also meeting some of the people I have known for ages online, and in real life will be great to meet and we will be socialising and going out having a laugh. :)
pt: Going out on a boat, fishing maybe, do some shopping, see the sights and possible go to a theme park.
RattlesnK: Well last year I really wanted to go and see Los Angeles Galaxy play football because Beckham's playing for them, as it happens ODEE was lucky enough to to snag 15 tickets for all of the SALVO to go. Apart from that me, Marc and Pete are going to hopefully get some time off to play a round of golf which should be quite entertaining, especially considering my standard of play!
Sarah Lou: The first thing that comes to mind is that hot tub, but I'd love to go shopping in LA with my personal stylist (Ruth). I don't know LA or America for that matter so I'll probably get lost, apprently I have no sense of direction, knowing that we're going to have to beg someone to show us around the hot spots. Also I'd like to visit Venis beach but I would prefer to go there with a group of people. Although the more I think about it the more I don't really know what do when I get there, I can always just tag along with my team and see where they're going as an easy option heh.
wez: Just chill out and relax mainly, probably go to the beach as much as possible! Apparently theres a jacuzzi really close to our room or something so i'll probably try and be in there loads aswell. Definitely wanna see as much of LA as possible though, go to Hollywood etc etc!
wilzOOO: Go and chill on the beach, I'm really gonna try and soak in the whole experience! Hopefully we win our game and preserve our stay so its long enough to go and just have a good time, and see all the things that are supposed to be awesome about LA!
