Snippet from the interview
Are you confident that you can continue your pro Fifa career at the high level it has been the past few years?
Definitely, In FIFA you tend to get new names floating about the top of the leader boards every year, but there are only a select few who can consistently be the best in the world, on every FIFA game. I have a natural passion for football in general, and love playing football on the virtual pitch just as much, so I don’t need any more determination than I already do in order to get to the top! :)
What is the key to your success?
Never underestimating my opponents for a start, and of course you need the focus and determination to play under the pressure of the big lights and the crowds. I can easily block out all the cameras, and the thought of people watching me as I am so focused on what I am doing on screen. I think it takes a special type of player to be able to hold there nerve when it comes to the big games, and so to be a big name player, you need to be able to pull off those big wins. Did I mention practice? It certainly helps ;) I tend to practice between 10-20 hours a week at the moment, but once college finishes I think I will be able to hit 40+ as I will have a lot more spare time on my hands.
